2. Made observations:

Put a small amount of lily pollen on a microscope slide.

Cover the pollen with a coverslip.

Examine the pollen under the microscope. 

Adjust the magnification as needed to observe different features.

Note aspects like size, shape, color, texture, and any other distinctive features you see.
