Our Field Trip

On 21 October 2016, Tarakanita Gading Serpong, grade 7, went to Kebun Raya Bogor for a field trip.

We had to arrive in our school at 6.30 so we won’t arrive in Bogor late. We went in the bus at 6 and went on our way. We arrived in kebun raya around 8.30 and started our activities.

The first activity is making a Horta Doll. A Horta Doll is made from sawdust covered in thin stocking and in between the saw dust, there are some seeds that will grow into grass.

The second activity is making terrarium. We planted cactus and every week we had to water it.

The last activity is where the people there taught us how to copy a logo on a bag in an easier way.

After we finished our activity, we had lunch together. Then, we went to the zoology museum. It is a museum filled with animal fossils.

Once we were done, we went back in the bus. Our trip was over. We arrived in Tarakanita Gading Serpong at about 3 in the afternoon. It was a fun field trip since we could bring what we made home and take care of it everyday.
